UNM cross country prepares to defend MWC title

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- UNM cross country is headed to Las Vegas for the Mountain West Championships.
The women’s team is ranked third in the nation. They won their only meet of the season.
They will get a chance to defend their conference title Friday.
"Given the fact that, that we’ve been training pretty much consistently throughout this whole period of time and very consistent in great workouts, I really don’t feel any doubt going into the race," said Annamaria Kostarellis.
