UNM women’s basketball team falls in first round of WNIT

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM women’s basketball team’s season came to an end Friday.
The Lobos fell in the first round of the WNIT to undefeated Cal Baptist.
UNM led by five at the half, but Cal Baptist erased the lead in the third quarter.
In the fourth, it was back and forth, but Cal Baptist ended up securing the victory, 90-85.
The Lobos finished their season, 15-5, with a regular season Mountain West championship.
