UNM women’s cross country makes history at MW championships

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — UNM women’s cross country is the No. 1 team in the nation. They hosted the Mountain West Championships Friday.

The women’s team finished with a perfect score of 15 points – taking the top seven spots, which had never been done in Mountain West history.

Amelia Mazza Downie finished first overall. It’s the 14th-straight Mountain West title for UNM.
