UNM’s Andrea Howard makes Olympic debut versus Team USA

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – Albuquerque native Andrea Howard is one day away from her Olympic debut with the Italian Softball Team.
Howard talked about starting the Olympics against her native country.
“We’ve played them before, we played a scrimmage with them a little bit, so I kind of know what it’s about,” said Howard. “But I mean every single game we’re gonna play in the Olympics, just a treat. All these teams are really good, and it’s just gonna be a competitive environment for us, so it should be very fun to watch."
The game will be on air at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
