ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – In this week’s Eye on New Mexico, we’re talking about recovering from the Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak Fire.
It’s been more than a year since the largest and most devastating fire in state history spread across northern New Mexico, burning hundreds of thousands of acres, and destroying hundreds of homes.
Since then, many families have been working to get back what they lost, but it has been a long and slow process for some.
