SANTA FE, N.M. — Thousands of people packed Fort Marcy Park in Santa Fe to watch the 99th Burning of Zozobra Friday night.
Organizers expected at least 50,000 people to watch Old Man Gloom go up in flames. The tradition this year had a 2000s theme – Zozobra was dressed up like Voldemort from Harry Potter.
