Albuquerque mayor tests positive for COVID-19

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The City of Albuquerque announced Mayor Tim Keller has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a statement issued Thursday, Mayor Keller tested positive earlier in the week and has been experiencing symptoms. The mayor’s office stated he has been following appropriate protocols and isolating to protect his family and staff.

As a result, Mayor Keller will not be in attendance for President Joe Biden’s New Mexico visit, Albuquerque PrideFest and Heights Summerfest, which are all scheduled for this weekend.
