BioPark gorilla welcomes baby to the world

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque BioPark Zoo welcomed a brand new baby gorilla to the world Wednesday morning.
Samantha gave birth to her baby at 10:29 a.m. Wednesday. The zoo reports Samantha and her baby are doing well and have started nursing.
This is Samantha’s first baby so the zoo’s Ape Walk will be closed intermittently to allow them to bond.
