I-25/Sunport off-ramp delays expected Friday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — If you plan on taking the Sunport off-ramp from I-25, you may experience some delays Friday.

Starting at around 5:30 a.m., large girders will be transported to the Sunport Boulevard Extension project work site. Periodic delays will persist through 1 p.m.

Motorists are encouraged to use the Rio Bravo Boulevard or Gibson Boulevard exits to get to the airport and other area businesses.

🚧🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT: Construction related to the Sunport Blvd extension may cause delays at the I-25 off ramp tomorrow, 8/12, between 5:30am and 1pm. Please use alternate routes – Gibson to Yale or Girard if coming from the north or Rio Bravo to University from the south.
