Sewer line collapse closes roads in northwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Griegos Road is closed in both directions between 12th and 14th Streets as crews are working on a sewer line collapse Tuesday morning.
The collapse was reported around 7:20 a.m., when an advisory was sent out for commuters to avoid the area.
The Bernalillo County/City of Albuquerque Water Authority first reported a water main break in the area of Rancho Sereno, near Coors and Paseo, around 10 p.m. Monday. Several homes were without water at that time but service has been restored.
