Police launch first homicide investigation of 2023

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police are investigating the first homicide of 2023 in the northeast part of Albuquerque Sunday.
Albuquerque police say officers were dispatched shortly after 5 a.m. to 7817 Central Ave. NE regarding a man lying on the street.
Upon arrival, police found a man dead.
