APD investigates fatal shooting in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are investigating a deadly shooting Saturday in the southeast part of the city.
Police say officers responded to reports of a shooting after 10 a.m. Saturday near Dallas Street and Bell Avenue SE. That’s where officers found a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital and later died.
According to APD, a person who is possibly involved in the shooting has barricaded inside an apartment. Officers are trying to get the person out.
