Police investigate fatal shooting in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are investigating a fatal shooting in northeast Albuquerque, near Montgomery and Carlisle.
Officers were reportedly dispatched to 4009 Montgomery Boulevard NE. When police arrived, they found a man shot. He was taken to UNMH, where he died.
Homicide detectives will be taking over the investigation. Information is limited at this time.
