Police investigate fatal shooting in the International District

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police are investigating a fatal shooting near a market in the International District.

Albuquerque police officers responded to 7817 Central Avenue, near Central and Pennsylvania, regarding a man who had possibly been shot.

“Officers arrived and discovered a lifeless individual,” said Daren DeAguero, APD spokesman.

APD has launched a homicide investigation. No further information is available at this time.
