Balloon Fiesta: Despite weather, balloons lift off Tuesday morning

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Hundreds of balloons lifted off Tuesday morning from Balloon Fiesta Park, but for a time, officials weren’t sure if it would happen due to the weather.
Weather threats are still looming this week. Visitors and participants are hoping for better weather and drier days ahead.
