BCSO: 2 dead in 3 separate Tuesday night car crashes

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Police are investigating three separate car accidents that are impacting drivers across Albuquerque Tuesday night.

The first crash happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday. BCSO says one person was killed in a crash at I-40 near the Carnuel exit.

BCSO says another crash happened at Rio Bravo and Coors around 9 p.m.. All northbound and southbound Coors were closed. No word on any injuries.

The final crash of Tuesday evening happened at 9:30 p.m. near 2nd Street and Bowers. According to a BCSO tweet, a pedestrian was hit and killed. All lanes of 2nd Street were closed off while police investigated. 

Officials are asking drivers to slow down and be patient while they investigate.
