BCSO detectives investigate 3 homicides

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Detectives with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office have launched three homicide investigations since Sunday, July 17.

Sunday shooting

According to BCSO, deputies were called to a shooting in the area of Coal and Dartmouth SE around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Authorities said a man and a woman were found shot inside a vehicle. A young juvenile in the backseat of the vehicle was not injured.

The driver told BCSO they had been shot at by unknown suspects in the area of Isleta and Bridge SW.

The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was transported to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The case is being investigated as a homicide. The deceased victim has been identified as 21-year-old Lesley Bolagh.

Body found in the South Valley

BCSO deputies were called to the area of 2nd Street and Lagunitas where a body was discovered Monday, July 18. The deceased has not yet been identified.

Authorities said the case is being investigated as homicide due to the suspicious nature of the scene.

Stabbing at La Luz

At about 3 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, BCSO deputies were called to a stabbing on Forest Road 333 and the La Luz trailhead. Authorities said they found a man dead when they arrived.
