BCSO seeks info on suspects in armed robbery

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Deputies are looking for four suspects accused of stealing liquor from a southwest Albuquerque gas station while possibly armed.

Around 3 a.m., June 28, Bernalillo County deputies responded to a reported robbery at the Speedway on Coors and Arenal. When they arrived, they talked with a person whom they identified as a victim.

The victim reportedly told police four young adults walked in and gathered items from the store. Then, after placing them on the counter, two of them allegedly went behind the counter and stole “6-7 bottles of liquor.”

Then, the suspects reportedly left the store with the bottles and headed westbound on Arenal in a black, 2-door sedan.

The victim reportedly feared one of the suspects had a weapon, as the suspect grabbed at his waistband before stealing the liquor.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is now seeking any information you may have on this incident and the suspects. If you have any information, call 505-468-7243 or email Violentcrimes@bernco.gov.
