ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Thursday is continuing to heat up throughout New Mexico but some places will see showers and thunderstorms.

Places eastward, such as Clayton and Raton, will see a greater rain chance, as dewpoints are elevated there and a level one elevated storm risk is in effect tonight. Places such as Roswell, Hobbs and Ruidoso will also see rain chances amid similar dewpoint readings.

Elsewhere, it’s a sizzler of a day as July kicks in. Monsoon conditions should return for the week.
