Brandon Richards: Scattered storms Thursday, mostly north and west

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Scattered storms are expected for New Mexico as Thursday continues but they will mainly be in the northern and western parts of the state.

Friday is expected to be more active as more widespread rain and storms will hit. However, the trade-off is a drier weekend for the state.

Higher humidity is hanging around for many parts of the state as we continue our monsoon conditions. This is going to exascerbate flooding concerns hanging over parts of the state.
