ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The monsoon continues Tuesday as virtually every part of the state will see rain.

The rain starts south of I-40 and east of I-25 but then moves north and west as the day progresses. A flood watch has been posted for most of the state, especially over the burn scar areas in the northern mountains – and near Ruidoso and Silver City.

Over the next week, at least two inches of rain is expected across northern New Mexico but as much as three or even four inches could fall south of Taos and west of Santa Fe.

Temperatures will remain cooler as well but warm as the week progresses.
