Crews continue to repair I-40 sinkhole damage

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – As Albuquerque enters into another stormy week, lanes are still closed on I-40 in northeast Albuquerque after a rainstorm caused damage last week.
Two eastbound lanes and one westbound lane are closed between San Mateo and Louisiana.
Crews are still working to repair a sinkhole after a rainstorm washed out a chunk of concrete in the arroyo.
NMDOT says there’s still no date for when the work will be done. Officials say it depends on if the weather will cooperate.
