Española boy talks participating in national mullet competition

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It’s business in the front and party in the back for one Española boy who recently competed in a national mullet competition.
11-year-old Russell Aldaz placed 37th out of 300 competitors nationally in his division. However, he is still competing.
He stopped by to talk about being the competition and, of course, the hairdo he calls “the Russell-cat.”
