GRANTS, N.M. — The FBI and Grants police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man who they say robbed a Wells Fargo bank Tuesday.

The ‘Black Cap Bandit’ entered the bank at around 2:22 p.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man received some money and then left the bank.

He is described as a Native American male in his mid-20s, weighing around 160 lbs., at around 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9. He wore a black baseball cap with an unknown white logo on the front, a black sweater, a light-colored surgical mask, blue jeans and black shoes.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to his arrest and conviction. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the FBI at 505-889-1300 or tips.fbi.gov.
