Jason Hooten takes over NMSU men’s basketball

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico State has hired Jason Hooten to be their next men’s basketball coach.
Hooten comes to Las Cruces after 13 years as the head coach at Sam Houston State. He will be introduced at NMSU Sunday at 2 p.m.
