Long leaves the Lobos, headed to Syracuse

Rocky Long cleaned out his office Thursday. He will be the defensive coordinator for the Syracuse Orange.
Long served as the head coach of the Lobos and the San Diego State Aztecs, and was offered the Syracuse job when he left SDSU.
Long chose to join Danny Gonzales – now Gonzales will have to find an offensive and defensive coordinator before the Lobos enter spring ball.
