Memorial services set for former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson

SANTA FE, N.M. — Memorial services will take place next week, honoring former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson who died over the weekend.

Richardson Center officials say the former governor will lie in state at the State Capitol rotunda from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, September 13.

A funeral mass will take place Thursday, September 14, at the Cathedral Basilica of St Francis of Assisi from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

A reception will follow at 1 p.m. that day at the State Capitol rotunda.

All events are open to the public.

Gov. Richardson died Friday night at his summer home in Massachusetts. He was 75.
