ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Mountain West Conference released a statement on Wednesday confirming their board of directors met on Monday night to discuss exploring new teams heading into the Mountain West.

This comes after the Pac-12 essentially collapsed with eight of their teams leaving for the BIG 10 and the BIG 12. Stanford, California, Berkeley, Washington State, and Oregon State are the last teams remaining in the Pac-12.

While the ACC is said to be pursuing Stanford and Cal, Washington State and Oregon State could have a chance of migrating into the Mountain West.
