NM Museum of Space History to host clinic for new telescope users

ALAMOGORDO, N.M. — A telescope is often given as a Christmas present and the New Mexico Museum of Space History wants to help you learn how to use it.

The museum’s Astronomy League is hosting a free, public clinic Thursday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. League members will be available to help teach new telescope users the best practices and essential tips for effective stargazing.

The clinic will be held in the front classroom at the Clyde W. Tombaugh Education Building on the museum’s campus.

If you’re interested in joining the Astronomy League, all ages and skill levels are welcome. Their next meeting is Thursday, January 12, and you can learn more by clicking here.
