Pedestrian struck, critically injured in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police are investigating a crash where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in northeast Albuquerque.

The crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday, in the area of Carlisle Boulevard and Candelaria Road. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.

Southbound Carlisle was shut down to allow Albuquerque police to investigate the crash. Details are limited at this time.
