Police investigate fatal shooting in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque homicide detectives were called to two scenes overnight.

Around midnight, officers were notified of a shooting in the South Los Altos neighborhood, near Chico and General Patch Street. Officers said they found one person shot and killed.

Around that same time, police said they received a call about a person who was found dead outside a home on the West Side, near Sunrose and Plume.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene, but it remains a suspicious death investigation for now.
