Police investigate fatal shooting in SW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are investigating a fatal shooting near the 9800 block of Benavides Road SW.
At approximately 8 p.m. Thursday evening, officers were dispatched to the area. Upon arrival, officers found one person dead.
At this time, no suspects are in custody.
