Q&A: DA Sam Bregman talks teen violence

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — APD has seven juvenile homicide suspects on its caseload so far this year.
Earlier this month, they arrested 13-year-old Marcos Barela. He reportedly shot and killed Sydney Wilson after she tracked down him and some other teens in her car, which had been stolen.
Also, just this month, APD arrested 14-year-old Lorenzo Lovato and 15-year-old Micalas McClendon Jr.
Investigators say they shot and killed 19-year-old Alana Gamboa after trying to rob her.
Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman joined KOB 4 to discuss the recent cases.
