ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The state’s Cannabis Control Division reported Tuesday that retailers sold nearly $38 million in recreational and medical cannabis combined last month.
“Adult-use” cannabis – what the state is calling recreational sales – is making up a majority of the sales.
Overall, Albuquerque makes up a vast majority of marijuana sales statewide.
In May, the Duke City saw $7.3 million in recreational sales and in June – $7 million.
Santa Fe, Las Cruces and Rio Rancho are next in line with the biggest sales numbers.

Total sales in June: $37,736,905.52
Medical sales: $16,525,897.79
Adult-use sales: $21,201,007.71
