Retrial: Angel Grado found guilty of voluntary manslaughter
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Angel Grado’s retrial ended with a verdict this time – and it wasn’t the result the family of Isaiah Villanueva was looking for.
Grado was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence, but not guilty of second-degree murder.
Grado was two weeks away from turning 18 when he shot and killed Villanueva at a house party.
As far as what type of sentence he’ll face, that’s information the district attorney is expected to share at a later time.
