SANTA FE, N.M. — Some residents discovered brown, discolored water coming out of their faucets in Santa Fe recently.

Around 200 residents have been affected. The city has encouraged them and other residents experiencing the issue to flush the line for five minutes to see if it clears up.

City officials say the water is safe to drink and that it could be discolored for several reasons. They are working to get a fix but it is unclear when that’ll be done.

If you experience the cloudy/dirty water, you can contact the City of Santa Fe at 505-955-4333.
