Sinkhole still causing issues on SB Eagle Ranch at Paseo del Norte

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — As the morning commute begins Thursday, crews are still working to repair a broken waterline in northwest Albuquerque.

Southbound Eagle Ranch Road is closed just north of Paseo del Norte due to a sinkhole that has formed.

According to the Water Authority, two child care businesses nearby at reported to be out of water, but no residences have been affected.

Southbound Eagle Ranch is likely to remain closed in the area for the next two to three days while repairs are underway.

Drivers who use Eagle Ranch for their commutes are advised to seek alternate routes.
