Small fire reported in bosque near Tingley Beach

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The recent rain in the metro hasn’t quite washed away the fire threat.

A small fire started in the bosque Thursday afternoon, just north of Bridge.

A few Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews responded to mop it up.

First responders said they suspect a homeless person started the fire.
