ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It’s going to be another hot day for New Mexico and heat advisories are posted throughout the state to reflect that.

Eastern New Mexico, from Clayton and Union County all the way down to Hobbs and Lea County and westward to Santa Rosa, Roswell and Carlsbad are all under a heat advisory but points around the Albuquerque metro and near Las Cruces also have an advisory posted.

Relief is expected later this week and into next week as rain chances will be elevated.

For now, Steve Stucker is calling this week ‘Shorts and Shades Week’ and he is all prepared as she shares his full forecast.
