ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Thursday will be the last day of mostly warm and dry conditions before more rain sets in for the weekend.

A band of precipitation will push east as we get into Friday which will bring precipitation to points in central and eastern New Mexico. For Thursday, western New Mexico will receive some rain, stretching from Silver City all the way to Durango, CO.

We love the Fourth of July weekend but watch the forecast and see if you might need a raincoat before you go out for any festivities.
