ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It’s a return to classic monsoon conditions Tuesday as storm chances are likely across the western and central portions of New Mexico, especially.

Highs are likely to be in the 80s and 90s – and nearly the 100s in the southeast where conditions will stay dryer than in other parts of the state.

The active pattern continues throughout the week as storm chances will remain around 50% for much of the week as the monsoon gives somewhat of a last roar.

Bring your umbrella this week for the heat and the rain – Steve Stucker salutes the dual purposes of your umbrella that he details in his full forecast.
