ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Storms will mostly be in northwest New Mexico as Thursday rolls on.
Friday is expected to be more active as more widespread rain and storms will hit. However, the trade-off is a drier weekend for the state.
Temperatures will be around average for Thursday but will creep just above average for the last weekend in August.
