Study shows ‘Edward Scissorhands’ as New Mexico’s favorite Christmas movie

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – With Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror, have you watched any good Christmas movies yet?

It’s that time of year when many of us turn to our favorites, and one analysis shows a result for New Mexico’s top pick that may be surprising.

According to the study, “Edward Scissorhands” is the favorite Christmas movie in the state. The Tim Burton movie came out in 1990 starring Johnny Depp, and Winona Rider.

The blog “Wealthy Nickel” used Rotten Tomatoes and Google Trends data to see which movies spiked during November and December each year. 

So, we wanted to ask folks in Albuquerque what they think of that top pick.
