Top-ranked Hobbs girls basketball returns to The Pit

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — State basketball is back on Tuesday. Hobbs girl’s basketball has been a staple at The Pit, making it to the finals five years in a row – and winning it all twice.

The Eagles are the top-ranked team in Class 5A, earning the No. 1 seed. Their record is 25-3.
