Video: 2 suspects arrested after car chase, shooting in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police released new video of a high-speed chase Sunday.
On Saturday, APD officers arrested Nikko Star and Kelsey Medina. After leaving a party, police say they and two other suspects shot at a car and at someone’s home in southwest Albuquerque.
Police launched a helicopter to look for the suspects. Officers say the driver drove recklessly throughout the city, even stopping twice to let two of the suspects run away.
APD says other law enforcement agencies were involved too.
Police would eventually stop the vehicle, deploying spike belts at a neighborhood road and they arrested Star and Medina.
Officers say they admitted one of the suspects who ran off was carrying all of the guns involved.
KOB 4 has not heard if police arrested anyone else in that case.
The suspects arrested are currently booked at the Metropolitan Detention Center.
