Work begins on I-40 between Unser and Coors

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Construction began Monday on I-40 between Unser and Coors Boulevard.
The I-40 westbound off-ramp at Unser will be closed and motorists will need to seek a different route.
Work will take place Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., to complete the next phase of a $19.5 million I-40 roadway reconstruction project.
Wall barriers are in place and the two inside traffic lanes are open to drivers traveling both eastbound and westbound.
