ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it’s important as breast cancer is one of the most common cancers within women.
Screening and mammograms can be intimidating. Cost can also be a huge factor and is why people often don’t get mammograms – but they are so important to prevent cancer.
Dr. Calvin Ridgeway, from Lovelace Breast Care Center, stopped by to talk about this in the video above.
