Police investigate homicide near SE Albuquerque Walgreens

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police launched a homicide investigation at a southeast Albuquerque pharmacy overnight Friday.

Albuquerque police officers responded around 12:30 a.m. Friday, to reports of a person dead behind a Walgreens at Central and San Mateo. Upon arrival, officers confirmed the reports and found a man with trauma consistent with a suspected murder – prompting homicide detectives to be called to the scene.
