ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Thursday is expected to be a warmer day with some patches of New Mexico seeing rain and storm chances.

Areas west of the Continental Divide, around Grants and Gallup, will see rain and some storm chances Thursday. Mountainous areas, such as the northern mountains and Ruidoso, will also see some rain. Be on the lookout for flash flood watches and warnings, always on rainy days, if you’re near the burn scar areas.
