Ryan Laughlin joined KOB 4 as a reporter in July 2018.
Within a few weeks on the job, Ryan was the lead reporter on the raid of a compound in northern New Mexico, where five adults and eleven children were found. He was the first reporter to gain access to the site. His reporting immediately received national and international attention.
Before arriving in Albuquerque, Ryan spent three years at a station in Fargo, North Dakota.
Ryan is from Minnesota and was drawn to New Mexico by the mountains and opportunities to snowboard, camp, hike and fish. An avid hockey fan and player, Ryan was happy to find a couple ice rinks in the desert.
Ryan and his wife are enjoying everything New Mexico has to offer. They are proud to call themselves part of the Albuquerque community.
